ABOUT ME
Introduction
Patricia R. Reed, CG®, is a genealogy researcher, writer, and educator who focuses on developing practical research skills and evidence-based analysis. She serves as Education Course Manager for the National Genealogical Society, where she develops advanced genealogy curriculum and oversees student and mentor engagement in the learning process.
Patricia previously administered the GenProof Study Groups and has taught in the Boston University Genealogy Studies program and at the GRIP Genealogy Institute. Her work has been published in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, American Ancestors, Rhode Island Roots, and Stripes. She earned the Certified Genealogist® credential in 2026.
