ABOUT ME

Introduction

KB Barcomb specializes in WWI and WW2 records, resources, and research methodology. Her focus is on understanding the chronology and context of military records, so as to more accurately interpret and analyze their content.

KB Barcomb

She has taught for the Applied Genealogy Institute and the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh. A retired Army officer with over 20 years of active military service, she is also the daughter of two WW2 veterans. KB is a member of the Society for Military History and the Association of Professional Genealogists. Her current research includes racial interactions during WW2, women’s participation in war work and military service, and an ongoing study of personnel policies in both WWI and WW2.
