ABOUT ME
Introduction
Lori Lyn Price, MAS, MLA, is a professional genealogist, speaker, and writer, and the owner of BridgingThePast.com and 1918FluStories.com, where she shares family stories about the 1918 flu pandemic.

With a background in medical research as a statistician for over 25 years, Lori Lyn is especially passionate about social history and medicine. Her current research includes colonial medicine, professional medical training and career opportunities for women in late 19th and early 20th century Utah, life in 19th century Utah, and the 1918 flu pandemic’s impact on families.
She has served in leadership roles for the Middlesex chapter of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists and the New England chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), and currently sits on APG’s Publications Advisory Committee. Her articles have appeared in NGS Magazine, Crossroads, Forum, and other local society publications. She has spoken at numerous venues including NEHGS, Legacy FamilyTree webinars, Old North Church, Tufts Medical Center, and conferences such as NERGC, MGC, History Camp Boston, and the Mormon History Association Conference.
