Fiona has served as President of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists (NZSG) and has convened multiple national conferences. She is a member of PHANZA and APG, and co-founder of Talking Family History. While living in England, she studied at the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies, where she earned a Higher Certificate in Genealogy. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury and a Certificate in Adult Teaching. Fiona has been a featured speaker at both international and national conferences and enjoys teaching practical genealogy workshops in person and online. Her work has been published in The New Zealand Genealogist and Family Tree (UK). Fiona is passionate about helping clients move their research beyond folders and computer files into meaningful formats that can be shared with family.
