ABOUT ME
Introduction
KB Barcomb specializes in World War I and World War II records, resources, and research methodology, with a particular focus on understanding the chronology and context of military records to improve interpretation and analysis. A retired Army officer with over 20 years of active service and the daughter of two World War II veterans, she brings personal insight and professional expertise to her work.

KB has taught for the Applied Genealogy Institute and the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Society for Military History and the Association of Professional Genealogists. Her current research interests include racial interactions during WWII, women’s roles in war work and military service, and the evolution of personnel policies in both world wars.
