ABOUT ME
Introduction
Judy Nimer Muhn, EdM, FSA-Scot, has been researching her family tree since the age of 12, with specializations in French-Canadian, Acadian, Native American, and Michigan research. She became a professional genealogist in 1993 while living in Europe and has since lectured at numerous national and international conferences, including the National Genealogical Society, RootsTech, and the Federation of Genealogical Societies.

Owner of Lineage Journeys, Judy conducts client research and provides educational presentations for societies, libraries, churches, and community organizations. She serves as President of the Michigan Genealogical Council, President of the Oakland County Genealogical Society, Board Member and Awards Chair for the National Genealogical Society, and is the former Secretary of GeneaBloggers. She is also a co-founder of the English-Speaking Genealogists in Europe – NATO Chapter and a former volunteer with the Yuba-Marysville FamilySearch Center.
Judy enjoys traveling the world to conduct research in archives and museums across France, Scotland, Germany, Quebec, Ontario, and the United States. She and her husband, Denny, are active members of their spiritual communities in both South Dakota and Michigan.
