ABOUT ME
Introduction
Charlotte Noelle Champenois is an Accredited Genealogist in Germany Northwest, Denmark, Sweden, and Austria and holds a BA in Family History–Genealogy. She works as a German and Nordic Research Specialist for the FamilySearch Library, an Associate Records Analyst for the German Immigrants in American Church Records (GIACR) project, and a transcription and translation assistant for Germanology Unlocked. She is also a freelance genealogist and translator.
Charlotte has presented at IGGC, SGGS, FGS, NGS, RootsTech, SDGS GIG, FEEFHS, the GFO Open House, and the FamilySearch Library. She has co-published a book and two articles and collaborated on twelve GIACR volumes. A native Danish speaker and advanced German paleographer, she also periodically works with genealogical records in Latin, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, and French.
