Introduction
Kimball G. Carter, CG®, is a Certified Genealogist with nearly 50 years of research experience. With ancestral roots in Colonial Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and New York, Kimball brings deep expertise in early U.S. research. He also has extensive experience in German and English genealogical records.
Since retiring from a career as an Art Director and Creative Director, Kimball has served as a volunteer at the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City for the past five years, assisting patrons with German, early U.S., and immigration research. He mentors fellow volunteers in German research and is skilled in reading early German records. Leveraging his background in graphic design, Kimball creates professional-quality charts, diagrams, and maps to support his genealogical writing.
