ABOUT ME
Introduction
Angie Bush, MS (Biotechnology), BS (Molecular Biology), is the Director of Region 1 for the National Genealogical Society. A professional genetic genealogist, she began researching her own family history at the age of 8 and now regularly advises fellow genealogists in the Salt Lake City area. Before turning to genealogy full-time, Angie had a career in molecular and clinical genetics. She spent several years working in the biotech industry, gaining in-depth experience with the technologies used in modern DNA testing.

Angie has helped numerous adoptees identify their biological families through autosomal DNA testing and is passionate about using DNA as a genealogical record to reconstruct relationships and solve even the most difficult brick-wall cases—both recent and centuries old. She is a member of the Association for Professional Genealogists, the International Society of Genetic Genealogists, and the Utah Genealogical Association.
